Event Countdown Timer

Count down to any date or event in real time. Add multiple countdowns, share a link, and get notified the moment it hits zero — 100% private, no upload.

Event Countdown Timer creates a live, second-by-second countdown to any date and time you choose — a birthday, wedding, launch, holiday, or deadline. Add multiple countdowns at once, each with its own shareable link, and optionally get a browser notification and sound when one reaches zero. Everything runs locally in your browser. Frequently Asked Questions

Is my countdown data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your countdowns are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to any server.

Can I add more than one countdown?

Yes. Add as many countdowns as you like — each one ticks independently, so you can track a birthday, a launch, and a deadline at the same time.

What happens if I pick a date in the past?

The card switches to a 'time since' view and shows how long ago that moment was, instead of counting down.

Can I share a countdown with someone else?

Yes. Click 'Copy link' on any countdown to get a URL that opens straight to that same countdown when someone else visits it.

Will I get notified when a countdown reaches zero?

If you turn on notifications for a countdown, your browser shows a notification and plays a short sound the moment it hits zero — as long as this tab stays open.

Does the countdown account for time zones?

Yes. The date and time you pick is stored as one exact moment, and the countdown is recalculated live against whichever time zone your device is currently set to.
