How It Works

Your images are loaded into an HTML5 Canvas element, converted to the target format using the browser's built-in codec, and made available for download — all locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data safe when converting images?

Yes. All conversions happen 100% in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server.

What image formats are supported?

You can convert between PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, and ICO. SVG files can be converted to any raster format.

Can I convert multiple images at once?

Yes. Drop or select multiple files and convert them all in one batch. You can download them individually or as a ZIP file.

What happens to transparency when converting PNG to JPG?

JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas will be filled with a background color (white by default). You can change this color in the settings.

Why is my converted file larger than the original?

Some format conversions increase file size. For example, converting a compressed JPG to PNG (lossless) will produce a larger file. Use our Image Compressor to reduce file size.

Does converting an image reduce quality?

Converting to lossless formats (PNG, BMP) preserves quality. For lossy formats (JPG, WebP, AVIF), use the quality slider to control the trade-off between quality and file size.
