PDF Sign lets you add a handwritten, typed, or uploaded signature to any PDF right in your browser. Draw with your mouse or finger, type your name in a signature-style font, or upload a photo of your signature, then drag and resize it onto any page. Frequently Asked Questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Your PDF, your signature, and the signed result all stay in your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server.

What types of signatures can I create?

Three: draw one with your mouse or finger, type your name and render it in a signature-style font, or upload a photo or scan of your signature and optionally remove the white background.

Can I sign more than one page?

Yes. Navigate to any page, place your signature, and repeat for as many pages as you need. Each page keeps its own placement.

Is this a legally binding electronic signature?

This tool visually places an image of your signature onto the PDF — it does not add cryptographic certification, an audit trail, or identity verification. For signatures that must be legally certified, use a qualified e-signature service instead.

Can I add the date next to my signature?

Yes. Turn on "Include today's date" before placing your signature, and today's date is stamped just below it using your device's local date format.

Can I sign a password-protected PDF?

User-password-protected PDFs can't be opened without the password. Decrypt the file first with a desktop PDF tool, then sign it here.
