Turn a raw screenshot into a polished, share-ready image. Add a background, padding, rounded corners, a drop shadow, and a browser frame — free, private, no upload required.

Screenshot Beautifier composites your raw screenshot onto a nicer background directly in the browser. Choose a solid color, a curated gradient, or a transparent canvas, then adjust padding, corner radius, and a drop shadow. Add an optional generic browser-chrome frame, and export at the original size or a social aspect ratio like 1:1, 16:9, or 4:5. Exports as PNG or JPEG with adjustable quality. Files up to 50 MB. No upload, no account. Built by FreeToolHub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my screenshots uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is drawn onto an HTML5 Canvas entirely in your browser. Your screenshot never leaves your device and is never uploaded anywhere.

What backgrounds can I use behind my screenshot?

Pick a solid color with the color picker, choose from a set of curated gradient presets, or select transparent to keep an alpha channel around the screenshot when you export as PNG.

What is the browser chrome frame?

It is a simple, generic top bar drawn on the canvas with three traffic-light dots and a rounded address-bar shape, giving your screenshot a window-like frame without mimicking any specific real operating system or browser.

Can I export at a specific size for social media?

Yes. Choose an aspect ratio preset such as 1:1, 16:9, or 4:5 and the composition is centered and letterboxed against your chosen background to exactly fit that ratio, in addition to the default auto-fit size.

Will rounding the corners cut off part of my screenshot?

Only the very corners are clipped, in a curve controlled by the corner radius slider. Keep the radius modest if your screenshot has important content flush against its edges.

What image formats and sizes are supported?

You can upload JPEG, PNG, and WebP screenshots up to 50 MB. The result can be downloaded as PNG (lossless, supports transparency) or JPEG with adjustable quality from 60% to 100%.
