    Frequently Asked Questions

Is the spin actually random and fair?

Yes. Each spin picks a winning segment using your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), not a simple time-based random function, so every option has an equal, unbiased chance based on how many times it appears in your list.

    Is my list uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your list and spin history are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to any server.

Can I weight the odds toward one option?

Yes. Add the same option more than once — each extra line is a separate slice on the wheel, so an option listed three times is three times as likely to win as one listed once.

Can I share my wheel with someone else?

Yes. Click 'Copy share link' to get a URL that opens straight to your exact list of options when someone else visits it — handy for classrooms, streams, or team picks.

What happens if I turn on 'Remove winner after spin'?

The winning option is automatically deleted from the wheel once the spin finishes, so the next spin can never land on the same result — perfect for raffles, elimination games, or assigning tasks without repeats.

Is there a limit to how many options I can add?

You can add up to 50 options. Below around 20 the wheel stays easy to read; beyond that the labels get small, so for very long lists consider trimming duplicates first.
