Coin Flip Simulator
Flip a virtual coin online for an instant heads or tails. Track your streak, flip history, and stats, or flip up to 1000 coins at once — free, private, no upload required.
Coin Flip Simulator flips a virtual coin in your browser using a cryptographically secure random number generator, so every result is genuinely 50/50. Flip once for an instant heads or tails, track your current and longest streaks, or flip up to 1000 coins at once to see the split. Recent flips and session stats are saved locally so they survive a page reload. Everything runs on-device — no upload, no account. Built by FreeToolHub.

Common uses
Quick decisions
Settle a 50/50 choice instantly — who pays, who goes first, or which option to pick — without an actual coin on hand.
Games & sports
Use it as a coin toss for board games, sports kickoffs, or online matches where a physical coin isn't practical.
Teaching probability
Flip hundreds of coins at once to demonstrate the law of large numbers and how results converge toward 50/50.
Streak experiments
Track how long your current heads or tails streak runs and compare it against the real statistical odds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this coin flip actually random and fair?
Yes. Each flip uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), not a simple time-based random function, so heads and tails each have an unbiased 50% chance on every flip.
Is my flip history uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your flip history and session stats are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to any server.
What are the odds of flipping heads or tails?
Each flip is an independent 50/50 event, so the odds of heads are 1 in 2 (50%) and the odds of tails are also 1 in 2 (50%), no matter what the previous flips were.
What are the odds of flipping 5 heads in a row?
The odds of any specific streak of 5 flips, such as 5 heads in a row, are (1/2)^5 = 1 in 32, or about 3.1%. Longer streaks get rarer fast: 10 heads in a row is (1/2)^10 = 1 in 1024.
Can I flip more than one coin at once?
Yes. Use the multi-flip section to flip between 1 and 1000 coins at once and see an instant heads/tails tally with percentages — useful for probability lessons or quick simulations.
Does the flip history save between visits?
Yes, on the same browser and device. Your recent flips and session stats are saved in local storage so they are still there if you close the tab and come back, until you clear them or clear your browser data.
