No. The image or camera frame is decoded entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can I scan a QR code with my camera?

What types of QR codes can this scanner read?

Why can't it find a QR code in my image?
Make sure the QR code is in focus, well-lit, and not too small or distorted in the image. Cropping the photo closer to the code often helps.
